Buxr - Shop & Save or Share & Earn

Buxr title=Today I visited DitalPoint Forum and found a new interesting ad network. If you like Chitika and Widgetbucks, you might like this ad network. Buxr is currently undergoing a private beta. I got a chance to test their service. I place their widget on my blog to see how it works. I don't know when it will open to public. I will write about them again when they announced their launch day.

How can you use Buxr?

There are really two ways you can use Buxr:

  • Browse the shopping deals we pick and post daily in our shopping section and save money buying stuff. Don't consider Buxr your main shopping destination though. We will never be able to replace the variety of items offered for sale by the big guys like Amazon. Look at it as your opportunity to get more for less, to treat yourself to an occasional gadget and not break the bank.
  • If you have a blog or website, share these great shopping deals with your readers/visitors and earn a commission when they buy stuff. Consider this a reward for the time and effort you put into maintaining your blog or website.
Who is behind this?
  • Michael Glozman - is the chief bargain hunter at Buxr. He has been doing it since 2003 on CheapStingyBargains and has built a strong following of regular visitors who are happy with the quality of shopping deals he discovers;
  • Yan Bezugliy - is the a Software Engineer by degree and has over 10 years experience working with computers. He blogs about online shopping a ProbargainHunter as a hobby. He built Buxr website and you can entirely blame him if there is anything broken.
What is the Buxr Widget?

The Buxr Widget is a tool that enables publishers (bloggers/webmasters) to share the bargains we post on Buxr.com and earn a commission when their visitors shop using the widget.

How do I make money with the Buxr Widget?

You will earn a commission when a visitor buys a product via a link on the Buxr Widget.

How much will I earn?

The commissions you earn can vary greatly depending on your sites content, traffic, and position of the Buxr Widget. Commission rates vary by merchant and can be as high as 10% or as low as 0.5%. As a rule of thumb though we promise that we will share with you at least half and sometimes more of what the merchants pay to us.

When do I get paid?

Payments are made when your Buxr commissions exceed $20 and commission have moved from Pending to Available status. Pending commissions typically take 30 to 60 days after the purchase date to move to available. This time allotted for product returns, refunds and fraud protection. Payments will be made monthly by check or via PayPal.
